Eden

FASHION AND CHARITY

MARCH 2019
SITE SPECIFIC INSTALLATION

LuisaViaRoma transformed its Florence store into "Eden," an idyllic and harmonious garden installation designed by Sara Ricciardi to celebrate an exclusive Attico capsule collection. Inspired by the image of a strong, introspective woman, the space features immersive elements like feather machines, botanical wallpapers, and a centerpiece fountain to create a sensory experience of pleasure and discovery.

Created for Pitti Uomo 95 in Florence, Eden transformed the LuisaViaRoma store into a surreal interpretation of an idyllic garden. Designed by Sara Ricciardi and curated by Valentina Guidi Ottobri, the installation introduced exotic vegetation, iridescent surfaces, feathers, and sculptural objects into the retail environment.

Conceived to accompany an exclusive capsule collection by The Attico, Eden drew on the image of a powerful, self-aware goddess. The result was a theatrical landscape in which fashion, design, and fantasy became part of the same visual narrative.

The installation combined decorative craftsmanship with a deliberately artificial vision of nature. Custom moving elements in brass and feathers were developed with Mazzanti, while furnishings, textiles, ceramics, and ornamental surfaces contributed to its richly layered atmosphere. Inspired by the sensual aesthetic of The Attico, the project challenged the conventions of retail display through an immersive and unexpected setting.
